I am a writer who lives in the Berkshires. I recently completed Grubstreet's prestigious application-based writing incubator, "Writing to Heal." Currently, I am focusing on crafting a non-fiction manuscript titled "Body of Proof," which explores the dynamics of truth, and the transformation can happen when our stories are witnessed.
My recent essay"Pee is for Pregnant," tells my story of terrible yet hilarious sexual education classes, medical misdiagnosis, abortion and my journey to identifying as Child Free by Choice. It was published in the Grubstreet anthology, "Our Bodies, Our Stories." The anthology is available at Porter Square Books in Cambridge and can be read on the Grubstreet website.
