Ky Gerbush is a writer based in the Berkshires, where she focuses on crafting personal narratives that explore truth, transformation, and the power of storytelling. She is currently working on a nonfiction manuscript, Body of Proof, which delves into the dynamics of truth and the profound changes that occur when our stories are witnessed. Ky is an alum of GrubStreet’s prestigious "Writing to Heal" program
Ky’s essay, “Pee is for Pregnant,” chronicles her journey through hilarious yet terrible sexual education classes, medical misdiagnosis, abortion, and identifying as Child Free by Choice. It was published in the GrubStreet anthology, Our Bodies, Our Stories, available at Porter Square Books in Cambridge.
Ky lives with her two cats, many roses bushes and her husband. She teaches community writing classes, empowering others to explore their own stories through a reflective, craft-focused approach.
